Premieres 27 August at 8:30pm on TEN
Carolyn Creswell - Founder of Carman's
Watch Carman’s founder and entrepreneurial speaker, Carolyn Creswell as a mentor on “Recipe to Riches”, Ten’s newest show.

Carolyn is living proof that you can run a highly successful business and still have a genuine work-life balance.

From hand-making muesli for a few local cafes as an 18 year old student, Carolyn bought the little business for $1,000 and she has grown Carman’s to the number-one selling muesli and bar brand on Australian supermarket shelves and now exports to 32 countries worldwide – yet Carolyn still holds her forklift licence today!

Carolyn has led by example ensuring Carman’s is an employer of choice, offering flexible hours and a trusting environment for staff. Her way of running Carman’s has achieved recognition across a number of awards including winner of the 2012 Telstra Victorian Business Woman of the Year Awards, the 2009 InStyle Women of Style Awards, the 2008 Veuve Clicquot Award and the winner of 2007 Ernst & Young’s ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award.

Today, Carolyn not only runs Carman’s on a day-to-day basis, but is also a board member of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. Carolyn recently became a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course and writes a quarterly opinion piece for BRW magazine.
